DANIELLE MUZINA

Danielle Mužina is an artist and educator from Cleveland, Ohio, holding an MFA from Miami University of Ohio and a BFA from Ohio Wesleyan University, as well as an MA from Eastern Illinois University. Her paintings explore place, identity, and crisis, inspired by her experiences as a queer woman and member of an immigrant family from Croatia. In her role as a university art professor, museum educator, and K-12 art teacher, she integrates her academic background into her teaching and community organizing. Danielle uses art as a touchstone for listening to and amplifying multiply-situated, layered stories about identity and community, illuminating interconnectedness and collective responsibility.
